Dang it Second Life...
Well I tried spending some time on second life again last night and didn't have much luck. My connection would occasionally drop out and just generally had problems running the software (refresh/load times). I know its not my machine's hardware since I've got 2 gigs of Ram and an high performance video gaming PCI-E video card. DANG IT SECOND LIFE!!

So maybe this is just me...but i find that the only times that SL freezes on me is when i try to make too many movements at the same time. For example if i'm walking straight and every now and then i hit the right or left arrow key to slightly go left or right. Try doing simple movements at a time and hopefully SL won't freeze on you.
Ok I'll give that a try... we'll see if it makes any difference.
